Ben Woodside Retirement Press Conference

Last week North Dakota State University men's basketball great Ben Woodside announced he would be retiring from the game of basketball at the age of 31. Today Woodside gave the local Fargo media an insight into his decision and a look back at his 13-year career, as he held a press conference at the Scheels Center.

Woodside played eight years of professional basketball in countries that included Turkey, Latvia and New Zealand.


Woodside retires as the best player in North Dakota State basketball history. He is the all-time leading scorer in program history, and also holds the record for most points in game (60).
