Tom Brady's Super Bowl winning jersey has been found.
After the New England Patriots won Super Bowl LI over the Atlanta Falcons 34-28, completing the largest comeback in Super Bowl history, their quarterback lost his jersey. Once in the locker room the Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady wasn't able to find his jersey and it was assumed that a media member or fan that got in the locker room had stolen it.
The case was taken by multiple law enforcement agencies including the Texas Rangers and the FBI. The jersey was priced out by Golden Auctions to worth $500,000. Well, today the jersey has been recovered and the FBI had to get involved because the jersey, along with the jersey Brady wore in Super Bowl XLIX against Seattle, was found on Foreign Soil in Mexico with a credentialed media member.
The NFL credentials over 5,000 media members for the game including many from Mexico where the NFL has played regular season games in recent years in an effort to grow their game. Below is a statement released by the NFL after they found the Jersey.
I would have loved to see teh roundhouse kick to the face Chuck Norris landed on this guy when he found the Jersey.
