Bison Senior Back on the Pitch Determined to Take Back her Senior Season

After two overtime wins and a last second field goal to beat Iowa Bison fans got a chance to breathe during Saturday’s homecoming game against Illinois State. The Redbirds put up a challenge early leading 10-7 at one point but the NDSU offense had perhaps their best game of the season and showed the explosiveness that has been missing so far. Coach Chris Klieman and running back Lance Dunn get wins in their return to their home state.

Bison fans left the Fargodome Saturday night with a feeling of déjà vu after #1 NDSU took on #8 Eastern Washington making their first ever trip to Fargo. North Wins Shootout to Capture First Win in 2016

The Fargo North Spartans and Fargo Davies Eagles took to the field Friday night with both teams looking to pick up their first win of the season as they start EDC conference play. There was plenty of scoring and no shortage of big plays as each team scored touchdowns of 45 yards or more. A missed extra point after a Davies touchdown was the difference as North would take the lead late and go on to earn their first win 28-27.
