(Minneapolis, MN) -- The best player in Minnesota Lynx history and one of the top WNBA players of all time is getting her jersey retired this August.

The Lynx announced that Maya Moore's No. 23 will be retired on August 24th during Minnesota's game against the Indiana Fever. The Lynx faced the Fever twice in the WNBA finals when Moore was a part of the team.

Indiana is also expected to select Iowa's Caitlin Clark in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Clark grew up idolizing Moore, and Moore was in attendance when Clark broke Pete Maravich's college scoring record.

Moore spent eight seasons with the Minnesota Lynx, winning four WNBA championships and making six All-Star games.
