(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Twins avoided a sweep by beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 at Target Field.

Edouard Julien broke a 2-2 tie in the fifth by hitting his second home run of the game. The Dodgers nearly tied the game in the seventh, but Carlos Correa threw out Shohei Ohtani at the plate to preserve the lead. Kody Funderburk picked up his first win in relief, and Steven Okert earned his first save. Minnesota snapped a four-game losing streak and improved to 4-6.
