Minnesota ranks 3rd most charitable state

(Minneapolis, MN)  —  Minnesota is one of the most charitable states in the country.  

That’s according to a new report by personal finance website WalletHub.  

Researchers compared all 50 states by nearly 20 factors, including charities per capita, volunteer rates, and percentage of people who donate money.  

Minnesota ranked third in the nation.  

The report states 53-percent of Minnesotans donate their time to charity.  

Utah was found to be the most charitable state, while Arizona ranked dead last.
