(Washington, DC) — Congress must soon decide whether to approve more funding for Ukraine in its war with Russia.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan today warned resources for Ukraine will soon run out if Congress doesn’t take action over the next few weeks.
He said lawmakers must decide whether to support the fight for freedom or let Russian President Vladimir Putin prevail.
The White House is requesting a 106-billion dollar package that includes aid for both Ukraine and Israel and other national security priorities.
Republicans, however, want to take up the issues separately, and want border policy changes in exchange for more Ukraine aid.
