(Fargo, ND) — Approximately 15,000 North Dakotans are waking up to power restored in their homes after a heavy ice storm after Christmas in 2023.
The data comes from PowerOutage.us, which tracks outages across the U.S. and is monitoring the situation in South-East North Dakota. They say an estimated 4,115 customers are currently without power across the state, with 2,978 outages being reported in Barnes, Ransom, Cass and Stutsman counties. The county with the most reported outages is Barnes, with 1,301 recorded by officials.
