The Fargo Force got three of a potential six points this past weekend after games against Tri-City and Madison. The Force let a 3-1 lead in the 3rd period lead slip away, eventually falling to the Tri-City Storm 4-3 in overtime. Mac Swanson, Lee Parks, and Michael Quinn all scored in the game. Fargo outshot Tri-City 41-19 in the loss. Fargo had the games 2nd Star Mac Swanson and 3rd Star Michael Quinn.

The Fargo Force then split a weekend series against the Madison Capitols. On Friday Fargo won 5-2, Lee Parks and Jake Fisher each scored 2 goals in the win. Mac Swanson also scored for the Force. Hampton Slukynsky saved 26 of 28 shots between the pipes. The Games 3 Stars were 1st Star Jake Fisher, 2nd Star Lee Parks, and 3rd Star Michael La Starza.

Saturday night the Force fell to Madison 3-2 in the annual Hometown Heores game. Hampton Slukynsky saved 27 of the 30 shots he faced, it is the first loss of the season for Slukynsky as the starting goaltender for the Force. Iiro Hakkarainen and Leo Gruba scored in the loss. The Game’s 2nd Star was Leo Gruba and Third Star was Brasen Boser.

The Force hit the road this weekend with a weekend series versus the Waterloo Black Hawks on January 26th and 27th.
