(Griggs County, ND) — A Griggs County man, Corey Schneider of Hannaford, is facing multiple charges after a domestic incident and encounter with deputies.
Authorities say Schneider assaulted his wife on Monday and then left the home with a rifle. Deputies tracked him to near Binford and pulled him over, but he refused to lie down or follow commands, instead telling the deputies to shoot him. Deputies had to use pepper spray to arrest him.
Schneider now faces charges related to the domestic assault and the encounter with law enforcement.
