(Grand Forks, ND) — A new interstate interchange is being built in Grand Forks.
The Federal Highway Administration has approved the plans for the interchange at I-29 and 47th Avenue South.
It’s the first interchange to be built in Grand Forks in over 50 years and it is designed to fix the long-term congestion on 32nd Avenue.
The project has been in the planning stages for the past seven years.
