(Washington, DC) – Senator Kevin Cramer says President Joe Biden is sending the wrong signals by threatening to withhold aid to Israel.
“A lot of political capital went into that decision, only for him to just pull the rug out from under our best friend in the Middle East,” he said, referring to the aid to Israel, in an appearance on Newsmax’s America Right Now program on Saturday. “Now we are abandoning them.”
Cramer added the move is “one more of those weak messages sent by a weak President.”
He said a lot of work went into the aid to Israel.
“We worked very hard to get the political will between both parties and both chambers of Congress to put together a package that couldn’t be passed that the President himself would sign,” Cramer said.
