WDAY RADIO — Senator John Hoeven has met with the presidents of Egypt and Cyprus as part of a delegation urging both leaders to support Israel.
Hoeven is a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee. The bipartisan Senate delegation traveled to the Middle East last week to build regional support for Israel while emphasizing the importance of defeating Hamas.
Hoeven stressed the importance of Cyprus as a key military partner and of Egypt which shares a border with Gaza and is one of the largest and most influential countries in the region.
