(Walcott, ND) — A man is in custody after leading police on a 50-mile chase that ended in Walcott.
The chase started in Clay County, Minnesota last evening when police tried to pull Mark Crompton over in Felton.
Crompton led cops from eight agencies through Clay and Cass County and into Richland County where his SUV got stuck in a field and caught fire.
Crompton took off on foot and was later found in an RV parked at a home in Walcott.
