Tech outage leads to flight cancelations at MSP

(Fargo, ND) — A major tech outage caused by a software upgrade impacted operations at several businesses, hospitals, and air travelers.

More than 100 flights in and out of the Twin Cities were canceled this morning at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

The number is expected to increase.

Airport spokesman Jeff Lea is urging travelers to contact their airline about their flight status because information shown on airport flight monitors is unreliable.
