(London) — The Americans are wrapping up the USA Basketball Showcase.
Team USA men’s basketball is set to play Germany on Monday in London. This is the first time that the two countries will go head-to-head on the hardwood since 2004, when the U.S. downed Germany 80-77 in Cologne.
Team USA is coming off a last-second 101-100 takedown of South Sudan on Saturday. LeBron James made the game-winning layup with under 10 seconds remaining to help the Americans improve to 4-0 in pre-Olympic exhibitions this summer. James finished with a team-high 25 points to go along with seven assists and six rebounds.
This is the last time that Team USA will hit the court before beginning play in the Paris Olympics against Serbia on July 28th.
