MN Governor Walz announces $200M in grants for reducing greenhouse gas emissions

(Fargo, ND) — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is announcing 200 million dollars in grants to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the state.

The governor says the money will be used to lower climate pollution and improve the food system.

That includes climate-smart farming practices, using electric vehicles to transport food, and creating more food waste prevention programs.
