Minnesota abortion providers gearing up for Iowans seeking services

(Undated) — Minnesota medical providers and public officials are gearing up to assist patients from Iowa following the implementation of a ban on most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.

Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan visited a nonprofit abortion clinic in Bloomington to show support for Iowa residents seeking reproductive healthcare.

The ban in Iowa has prompted concerns about access to abortion services, leading patients to seek care in neighboring states like Minnesota.

The visit highlighted the importance of ensuring reproductive healthcare options for all individuals, regardless of state restrictions.
