Becker County releases calls for service data related to WE Fest

(DETROIT LAKES, MINN) – The Becker County Sheriff’s Office has released their 2024 statistics from the WE Fest music festival. The statistics are valid from July 31 through August 4.

In all, Becker County deputies responded to 208 calls for service that were WE Fest related. Of the calls, 56 were for minor consuming alcohol. An additional 46 were 911 hangups. The deputies responded to 16 medical calls for service and 15 disorderly calls.

The deputies issued 125 citations, including 114 for minor consuming.

The sheriff’s office said 16 people were booked into the Becker County Jail by deputies. Five were for minors consuming, along with three each for fleeing on foot, trespassing and disorderly conduct.

The WE Fest festival is held annually on the Soo Pass Ranch near Detroit Lakes.
