The Minnesota Twins dropped their series rubber match to the Chicago Cubs 8-2 on Wednesday afternoon.
Twins’ starting pitcher Joe Ryan exited the game after two innings with a bicep injury. Trevor Richards would give up three runs in only ⅔ of an inning in relief and was tagged with the loss.
Matt Wallner and Brooks Lee each drove in a run.
The Twins are off on Thursday before returning home to Target Field for a four-game weekend series against the Cleveland Guardians beginning on Friday afternoon.
