(WILLIAMS COUNTY, ND) — A 76-year-old Williston man has died of injuries sustained in a Saturday afternoon motorcycle crash in Williams County.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the man, who has yet to be named by authorities, was northbound on 115th Avenue NW, also referred to as Williams County Road 17. He was approaching a left curve in the roadway near 115th Avenue Northwest and 66th Street NW.
The motorcycle failed to negotiate the curve, entered the east ditch and rolled. The driver was ejected from the motorcycle.
The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Tioga Medical Center, where he died.
The driver’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
