As most Labor Day weekends tend to be in our area for the past few years, another nice one is setting up for the area. Perhaps not another burst of summer heat that some may want but fairly mild temperatures around average for most. Although there will be a little more clouds than the sun at times on Saturday the extended weekend will contain a lot of sunshine with high temperatures in the 70s to low 80s. Wind not bad this weekend but noticeable with a WNW between 10-25 mph on Friday, NW winds between 10-20 on Saturday, light north winds on Sunday, and south winds between 10-20 mph on Monday. There will likely be a few isolated showers or thundershowers on Saturday but they should remain in northern and northeastern Minnesota.
