FARGO, ND — A Fargo man who’s facing an attempted murder charge has entered an Alford plea. An Alford plea is when a defendant admits that the evidence against them is enough for a conviction, but they maintain their innocence.
The charge stems from a shooting that happened last year at an apartment in downtown Fargo, where 30-year-old Kyle Ochoa is accused of shooting a woman six times.
Ochoa’s sentencing is set for November 25th.
