(Florham Park, NJ) — A veteran offensive lineman isn’t ready to hang up his cleats just yet.
After re-signing with the Jets practice squad on Wednesday, center Connor McGovern practiced for the first time since suffering a severe injury. McGovern dislocated his left kneecap and damaged his MCL during a game last season, and was seriously contemplating retirement. The 31-year-old returns to Gang Green with the hope of making a run in the postseason.
New York is 0-1 and will visit the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
