Twins bullpen folds in loss to Guardians

The Minnesota Twins fell to the Cleveland Guardians 4-3 on Monday night.

Pablo Lopez gave up two runs over 6 ⅓ innings in a no decision. Griffin Jax was tagged with the loss after giving up two runs over 1 ⅓ innings of work. Caleb Thielbar recorded one out from the bullpen. Byron Buxton drove in two runs for Minnesota.

The Twins and Guardians will continue their series on Tuesday evening with first pitch set for 5:40 p.m. Minnesota currently has a 1 ½ game lead over the Tigers for the third and final American League Wild Card spot.
