Turnover riddled afternoon costs Dragons in loss to Bearcats

The MSUM Dragons fell to the McKendree Bearcats 22-15 in a turnover riddled afternoon. The Dragons ended up turning over the football four times (three interceptions, one fumble).

Jack Strand completed 35 passes for 304 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. Strand also had three carries for 36 yards and one touchdown. Gage Florence paced the receiving core with 12 receptions for 102 yards. Carson Elbert caught three passes for 29 yards and one touchdown.

Tate Gustafson totaled seven tackles with an interception for the defense. Gavin Jarchow also recorded seven tackles. McKale Pierson, Jack Bungarden, Josiah Behm, and Joey Hughes all tallied five tackles. Additionally, Gustafson and Pierson each blocked an extra point attempt.
