The Minnesota Wild defeated the Winnipeg Jets in their first preseason matchup on Saturday 5-2.
Daemon Hunt, Jakub Lauko, Ben Jones, Graeme Clarke, and Caedan Bankier all scored for Minnesota. Jesper Wallstedt saved 38 of the 40 shots he faced.
The Wild will now visit the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night for another preseason matchup.
