WASHIGNTON, D.C. — President Biden says he would’ve been reelected had he remained in the race.
Appearing on ABC’s “The View” Wednesday, Biden said, “I was confident I would beat Trump, he’s a loser.” He also said he’s “at peace” with the decision to end his bid for a second term. Biden added he never fully believed the assertions there was an overwhelming reluctance to him running again.
This marked Biden’s first interview since both the Democratic National Convention and the debate between Vice President Harris and former President Trump.
