(BELTRAMI COUNTY) — A 75-year-old Blackduck, Minn., man suffered life-threatening injuries after his Moped collided with another vehicle Friday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 75-year-old Jed Maggert, of Blackduck, was traveling southbound on Highway 71 turning east onto Turtle Lake Road. A Dodge Journey Minivan, driven by 20-year-old Shania Kampa, of Blackduck, was traveling southbound on Highway 71. The vehicles collided at the intersection.
Maggert was taken to a Fargo hospital. Kampa was not injured.
