Forbes Magazine has no one from North or South Dakota on its new “400 richest people in America” list. The 2024 update was released yesterday. South Dakota’s richest person, T. Denny Sanford, was appearing on the list over the past few years. But now he ranks around 15-hundred in the world. Billionaires from surrounding states like Iowa and Nebraska did end up making the Forbes 400 list, including Nebraska’s Warren Buffett at number five.
