On Monday, October 7, Senator John Hoeven, the Fargo Memorial Honor Guard, the mayors of Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo and the FMWF Chamber will announce a major step forward in the development of a Veterans Cemetery Center at Fargo National Cemetery (FNC). As a member of the Senate Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Committee, Hoeven has been working to coordinate efforts among veterans groups, local stakeholders and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to build a facility at the FNC that incorporates local input and adequately addresses the needs of veterans, their families and volunteers.
