North Dakota State quarterback, Cam Miller, was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. This is the second time Miller has earned the award this season and third time of his collegiate career.
Miller led six scoring drives in the seven possessions he was under center. The Solon, Iowa native, accounted for 207 yards and three total touchdowns. He completed 13 of 19 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns, along with rushing for 39 yards and one touchdown on the ground. His rushing touchdown was the 42nd of his career, setting a new MVFC record for quarterbacks.
Additionally, he extended his streak to 12 games and 235 pass attempts without an interception. The Bison will visit Southern Illinois on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m.
