ND Commission to vote on future of potential Carbon Capture pipeline

BISMARCK, ND — What could be called the world’s largest carbon capture pipeline project is closer to being voted on very soon.

The North Dakota Public Service Commission moved closer to making the Summit Carbon Solutions pipeline a reality.  The five-state pipeline would link 57 ethanol plants to an area in Oliver, Morton, and Mercer counties.  The carbon emissions would then be captured and stored underground.

During the work session, there was no other mention of another session before voting on the pipeline.
