Amendment H is Getting More Attention in South Dakota

The campaign battle over Amendment H on this year’s South Dakota General Election ballot is escalating. It’s the measure that would establish open primary elections, prompting attention in political ads being seen ahead of election day. One local veteran is speaking out about an ad in favor of Amendment H depicting veterans with tape over their mouths to portray that they have no say unless they join a political party. Navy and Air Force Adam Long says the new postcard ad and ones similar to them use their title as veterans for a political agenda. PACs from outside of South Dakota were responsible for the ads.
