(STATEWIDE) – Hospitals across the state are still dealing with IV solution shortages. North Dakota Hospital Association Vice President Melissa Hauer says hospitals are continuing conservation measures – although production is beginning to return to ‘normal production’. She says more IV solutions are being brought in from other facilities within Baxter International’s footprint.
Locally, Sanford Health says they’re not experiencing a significant shortage of IV fluids within their hospitals and clinics. Essentia Health officials say they are able to maintain normal patient operations as their primary supply was not directly impacted by either hurricane.
