NORTH DAKOTA – Senator Kevin Cramer believes there’s a good chance the Senate will flip to Republican control.
Cramer said on What’s On Your Mind with Scott Hennen on AM 1100 The Flag Friday morning he believes Democratic Senator John Tester of Montana will lose to combat veteran and entrepreneur Tim Sheehy. He also thinks Republican former Governor Jim Justice will win his race in West Virginia.
Democratic Senator Joe Manchin didn’t seek re-election.
“I’m pretty confident. I think we’re going to win at least two or three of those races in the rust belt. I think we could have a wave, but there’s a lot of work to be done in these last 10, 11, 12 days,” Cramer said.
The Cook Political Report calls the West Virginia race solid for Republicans and lists the Montana race as leaning toward Republicans. Cook also calls the race between Cramer and Democrat Dr. Katrina Christensen solid for Republicans.
