(FARGO, ND) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol and Fargo Police Department have announced the results of their recent multi-agency downtown traffic detail. The Patrol and Police Department worked together to have an increased patrol presence late Saturday night into Sunday morning, with the goal of enhanced law enforcement activities in collaboration with law enforcement partners.
The detail resulted in 82 traffic stops and responses to two traffic crashes. A total of 29 criminal citations or arrests, and seven non-criminal citations, were issued as a result. 14 arrests for driving under the influence and six narcotics related arrests took place, with two outstanding warrants arrests taking place.
