On Monday afternoon, University of North Dakota freshman forward, Sacha Boisvert, was named the National Collegiate Hockey Conference’s Rookie of the Week, the league office announced.
He totaled three points on one goal and two assists in a pair of games against No. 9/8 Cornell this past weekend. He registered an assists on Friday night. Then on Saturday, he tallied a multi-point game with a goal and an assist. This was his third multi-point game in the young season.
Boisvert now has seven total points on two goals and five assists through seven games this season. He leads all UND skaters in assists and total points.
North Dakota will begin NCHC play this weekend at AMSOIL Arena when they visit Minnesota Duluth beginning on Friday at 7:07 p.m.
