Sen. Cramer elected to second term

BISMARCK, N.D. – The Associated Press projects Senator Kevin Cramer will win his second term over Democrat candidate Dr. Katrina Christensen.

Cramer first won election to the Senate in 2018 over then Democrat Sen. Heidi Heitkamp. He also served as the chair of the North Dakota Republican Party from 1991 to 1993, was a North Dakota Public Service Commissioner from 2003 to 2012, and served three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019.
