TYLER, TX — A federal judge is striking down a Biden immigration program that kept undocumented spouses of American citizens from being deported.
The Biden administration started a policy in August called “Keeping Families Together,” which allowed hundreds of thousands of undocumented spouses to work legally in the U.S. while they sought citizenship.
On Thursday, a Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas struck down the program, and said Congress had not given the executive branch the authority to implement such a policy.
