Volunteers Needed To Search For Missing Indigenous People In Fort Totten

FORT TOTTEN, N.D. – A two-day, community-led search is being planned for two indigenous people who disappeared in the Fort Totten area early last year.

Authorities say 22-year-old Jemini Posey went missing in Fort Totten in January. Twenty-seven-year-old Isaac Hunt reported disappeared two months later.

People are invited to assist ongoing search efforts Friday which will continue at least through Saturday evening. Volunteers are advised to come dressed for potentially cold and windy conditions. Those who are unable to take part in the search reportedly can contribute to the effort by offering help with cooking, answering calls and other crucial tasks.
