We knew we couldn’t keep this nice mild weather around all season, right?? Well, some much needed moisture is on the way with over an inch of rain expected!! This is great news:
Much of the area will see some much needed rainfall, however, some snow will enter the area as we head into Wednesday along with strong NW winds which will produce blowing snow and reduced visibility. Here’s a look at 4 different models and what they are forecasting for snow totals:
Notice the similarities in snowfall amounts….now with that being said, the first 1″ will likely melt with the warm ground temps but as we get into Wednesday and temps remain in the 20s, we could see some blowing snow and reduced visibilities with about 1-3″ of snow likely. It looks like temps will remain in the upper 20s to low 30s the rest of the week. Winter is finally here!!
