(CASS COUNTY, ND) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a man they have been looking for since Saturday afternoon has been found dead.
The Sheriff’s Office says 53-year-old Arthur Crissler was last seen in the area of the Lake Shure subdivision of rural Harwood. Deputies searched the area, checked with local hospitals and shelters, utilized drones with thermal imaging as well as called in Richland County’s tracking K-9, resulting in negative results.
The Sheriff’s office maintained custody of the scene until this morning, when they, along with Valley Water Rescue, the Harwood Fire Department and Richland County’s K-9 team, resumed the search.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning, authorities discovered Crissler submerged underwater in the area around the Lake Shure subdivision.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is being released. Crissler’s family has been notified.
