The Minnesota Vikings escaped Chicago with a 30-27 win in overtime over the Bears.
The Vikings led 27-16 with 1:56 remaining in the fourth quarter, before the Bear scored a touchdown and converted a two-point conversion with 22 seconds remaining to cut the game to 27-24. Then they recovered an onside kick and got into field goal range, knocking down a 47-yarder as time expired in regulation. Minnesota’s John Parker Romo connected on the game-winning 29 yard field goal with 2:10 remaining in the overtime period.
Sam Darnold completed 22 of 34 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns. Aaron Jones added 22 carries for 106 yards and one touchdown. Jordan Addison caught eight passes for 162 yards and one touchdown.
Harrison Smith led the defense with 11 tackles followed by eight tackles from Byron Murphy Jr.
The Vikings improved to 9-2 while the Bears fell to 4-7. Minnesota will return to US Bank Stadium on Sunday, December 1 to battle the Arizona Cardinals.
