(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are avoiding arbitration with three members of their bullpen.
The team agreed to one-year contracts with relievers Justin Topa, Brock Stewart, and Michael Tonkin on Sunday. Stewart had a 5.17 ERA in 16 appearances for the Twins, Tonkin had a 3.63 ERA in 57 games between three teams, and Justin Topa appeared in just three September games after spending most of the season rehabbing from a Spring Training injury.
The Twins also tendered contracts to 11 of their arbitration-eligible players over the weekend.
