On Monday, November 25 the National Collegiate Hockey Conference announced University of North Dakota forward, Sacha Boisvert as the league’s Rookie of the Week.
He recorded three points on two goals and an assist in a weekend sweep over Robert Morris. He scored a goal and assisted the game-winning goal in overtime of UND’s 4-3 win on Friday night. Saturday evening he scored the only goal in a 1-0 shutout over the Colonials.
The Freshman is tied for the team lead with 11 points on five goals and six assists. The NoDak forward’s five goals and 11 total points are both second in the NCHC among rookies along with being Top-10 nationally.
North Dakota will battle Bemidji State in a pair of non-conference matchups this weekend beginning on Friday night.
