NORTH DAKOTA – South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says a federal court in North Dakota has ruled in favor of a coalition of states that challenged a new Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals rule.
The Biden Administration planned to expand health care benefits to DACA recipients starting November 1st. Illegal immigrants who arrived in the U.S. as children would have been eligible for subsidized health insurance coverage under the terms of the Affordable Care Act.
The court granted the states’ request for a temporary injunction
