(Eagan, MN) — An NFL head coaching candidate will leave no stone unturned this offseason. Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores told the media on Tuesday that he will take all interview requests from teams with head coaching vacancies.
ESPN reports the Bears and Jets have already reached out to Flores for an interview. The 43-year-old is also interested in the Patriots’ open position, which is where he spent the first 15 years of his career. Flores last coached the Dolphins but was fired in 2022 and sued the league along with several teams for discrimination during the interview process.
He became a defensive assistant with the Steelers that year before heading to Minnesota to become the team’s coordinator.
