Trump pardons 22 people from MN, ND & SD for Jan. 6th involvement

WASHINGTON – At least two men with North Dakota ties.. 15 Minnesotans.. and five South Dakotans are among those being pardoned by President Trump for their roles in the January 6th Capitol riot.

Rockne Earles of Oriska and Damian Johnston, who once led the North Dakota Young Republicans chapter, had their cases dismissed. Prosecutors are also moving to dismiss the case of Fargo native Eric Zeis.

Trump on Monday issued pardons and commutations to nearly 1,500 defendants charged with their involvement in January 6th including those who injured police officers.
