Red River Valley Alliance confirms OSHA investigation

(FARGO, ND) – We’re learning more about an active OSHA investigation related to the FM Diversion project.

According to a statement from the Red River Valley Alliance, on November 5, 2024, while removing old utility lines, an ASN Constructors employee contacted or came close to contacting, a live electrical line and was injured. ASN Constructors immediately contacted EMS, shut down the site, and contacted OSHA and the electric company to initiate an investigation, which is ongoing.

“We take safety very seriously and ASN Constructors, the design and construction arm of developer, Red River Valley Alliance, is working closely with investigators to determine what led to this incident,” the statement read. “We also continue to offer support to the injured employee and their family. We are hopeful for the employee’s continued recovery.”
